Heavy Hitters x Cam - Pink Certz - Diamond Infused Pre-Rolls (5 Pack) - 2.5g
Pink Certz sounds like a breath mint from the rack by the register, and the smoke plays along. Heavy Hitters calls it clean and a little sweet, with a quiet candy note, and both family trees offered for it have a minty parent: The Soap in one, The Menthol in the other. CAM grows it indoors in Sacramento, and Heavy Hitters packs five half-gram minis of it with THCa diamonds. Next to Devil Driver, the other new CAM collab, this is the balanced one: clear in the head, loose in the shoulders, built for the back half of the day.

Genetics & Lineage
The sources split here. Heavy Hitters lists The Soap x Pink Runtz. The Soap is Seed Junky Genetics' Animal Mints x Kush Mints, known for a pine, mint and rose nose people compare to hand soap. Pink Runtz is usually called a Runtz (Zkittlez x Gelato) phenotype, though some seed sellers trace it to Pink Panties x Rainbow Sherbet. Leafly, Weedmaps and SeedFinder instead list Pink Certz as Compound Genetics' The Menthol x Grape Gasoline, from Compound's original Grape Gasoline collection: Gelato 45 crossed into a White Diesel, High Octane and Jet Fuel line on one side, Grape Pie x Jet Fuel Gelato on the other. This product's own Weedmaps page shows both, Heavy Hitters' copy next to a parents field naming The Menthol and Grape Gasoline, and a retailer listing for CAM's single Pink Certz joints gives the Compound cross. No breeder or strain database turns up a Soap x Pink Runtz by this name, and neither brand has addressed the gap, so the cross in this jar is unconfirmed. A Pink Certz from San Francisco grower Sense won the 2022 Transbay Challenge; that was Sense's flower, not CAM's.
Flavor & Aroma
Mint and candy, whichever tree it came from. Heavy Hitters lists candy, floral and creamy. If this is the Compound plant, expect what Leafly users describe: grape sweetness going in, mint and jet fuel on the way out. Compound's own notes reach for spearmint gum, a red Halls cough drop, fruit syrup and Cinnamon Toast Crunch. If it is The Soap x Pink Runtz, the parents point toward rose, mint and fruit candy, which fits that floral note. Weedmaps' tags lean grape, lavender and diesel, with berry, citrus and sweet behind them. The diamonds add weight and a longer finish, not flavor. Heavy Hitters does not print a terpene panel for this SKU.
Effects
Balanced is the word that keeps coming up. Heavy Hitters pitches a clear head over a calm body, and Leafly reviewers report focused, relaxed and energetic, with creative lift and no heavy sedation. Compound describes its Pink Certz as an even hybrid that wanders toward its indica side. The diamonds make each puff hit harder than a plain joint. Dry mouth, dizziness and anxiety are the negatives Leafly users flag. It ends relaxed rather than asleep.
Best For
- The hour after work: clear head, looser shoulders
- Mint and candy palates: sweet smoke with a cool finish
- A show at Cobb's on Columbus: loose enough to laugh, clear enough to catch the callbacks
- Splitting a mini: half a gram with diamonds goes further than it looks
- An evening walk down to the Embarcadero: easy pace, good conversation
Not for: anyone after a knockout sleep strain, first-timers taking a whole mini solo, or smokers who get dizzy on strong hybrids.
Pairings
Food: sweet and creamy, to match the candy. A slice of sacripantina from Stella Pastry on Columbus. Music: Sade's Love Deluxe, Khruangbin, Frank Ocean's Blonde. Activity: a long dinner, a record you know by heart, a movie you have already seen twice. Devil Driver from the same CAM collab makes a brighter opener earlier in the day.
Construction
CAM is short for California Artisanal Medicine. Anna Willey started the first CAM, a Denver dispensary called Colorado Alternative Medicine, in 2009, brought the name to California in 2018 and built an indoor grow in Sacramento. It is one of the larger woman-owned cultivators in the state, and its Super Silver Haze won a Golden Bear at the 2025 California State Fair cannabis awards. Heavy Hitters grinds CAM's finished Pink Certz flower into five half-gram minis and infuses each with rough-cut THCa diamonds, crystals of nearly pure THCa you can see in the joint. The pack ships in a glass jar.
Dosing
New to infused joints: two puffs and wait fifteen minutes. Balanced does not mean mild.
Regular smoker: half a mini for the evening. Pinch it out cleanly and save the rest.
Heavy tolerance: a full mini, with food first. Dizziness is the usual sign you went too far.
Storage
Keep the jar shut and out of the sun. Heat softens the diamonds and turns the smoke harsh. Put a half-smoked mini back in the jar rather than a pocket, and relight it slowly.
