Cannabiotix - Gluetopia - Pre-Roll - 0.75g

$9.99

Gluetopia is Cannabiotix's own cross of CBX Glue and Zereal Milk, here in a single 0.75g joint. CBX grows indoors in Los Angeles County and makes its pre-rolls from buds too small for its eighth jars, ground fresh, no trim. The brand's notes read chocolate, tang and hashy funk; one reviewer smelled glue and gas first. The high opens in a good mood and settles into the body. It is the same strain as the Gluetopia eighth on our shelf, sized for one sitting.

Genetics & Lineage

CBX Glue x Zereal Milk #97, per Cannabiotix, which calls both parents its own. Zereal Milk is CBX's cross of Zkittlez and its Cereal Milk, itself Strawberry Lemonade x Thicc Mint Cookies. CBX has not published what CBX Glue is; the name suggests the Glue family, but the brand does not say so. The strain page carries CBX's in-house stamp, while the pre-roll page credits the breeding to Limited Trees Genetics, the breeder that also claims Cereal Milk, Kush Mountains and L'Orange. Watch for a name clash. Raw Garden has a different Gluetopia, listed as GG4 x Jack Punch, and Weedmaps' strain entry credits Copycat Genetix, with GG4 as the parent. That text also shows up on CBX's Weedmaps listings, so you may see GG4 next to this joint online. CBX has not tied its Gluetopia to that line.

Flavor & Aroma

CBX describes chocolate, a tangy edge and hashy funk, with myrcene, limonene and pinene as the lead terpenes. The Highest Critic's reviewer found the nose "heavy on the glue, moderate on the gas," with a little citrus and earth, then tasted sweet fuel on the inhale and a creamy, gassy exhale. San Diego Cannabis Times smelled sweetness and earth with pine and citrus over it, and called the smoke smooth, the taste sweet and woody. Weedmaps' tags add berry and diesel. Put together: sweet glue and fuel, pine and citrus, with CBX's cocoa and hash underneath. No terpene panel is published for this lot.

Effects

CBX's own pages differ slightly. The strain page says euphoric, joyful and soothing; the pre-roll page says soothing, sedating and euphoric. Weedmaps tags euphoric, relaxed and uplifted. The Highest Critic's reviewer felt calm relaxation arrive quickly, with a strong body feel, calm focus and euphoria, a peak of more than fifty minutes, then dry mouth and a real appetite. San Diego Cannabis Times described a gentler start and a balance of relaxation and euphoria, an after-work smoke. So: a good mood first, a loose, heavy body next, and a pull toward the couch that grows with the dose. Plan snacks.

Best For

  • After work: relaxed and happy, without a racing head
  • Glue and hash fans: the sticky fuel-and-funk family, with a cocoa note
  • Trying CBX's own genetics: a cross the brand calls an in-house exclusive
  • Sampling before the eighth: the same strain as the Gluetopia jar
  • A solo evening: 0.75g suits one smoker, or two sharing

Not for: mornings, errands, or anyone who wants a bright, racy sativa.

Pairings

Food: something salty against the sweet. Liguria Bakery's focaccia saved from the morning, then a slice at Golden Boy Pizza when the appetite arrives. Music: slow and warm, a Bill Evans trio record or Mac Miller's Circles. Activity: a bench in Washington Square as the fog comes in, then the walk home.

Construction

A single 0.75g pre-roll. CBX says its joints are all flower, no trim, in all-natural paper, and its About page explains where that flower comes from: buds that come up too small for the eighth jars go straight to the grinder and into joints. The jars sell on CBX's Weedmaps menu as Big Buds, so this joint holds the smaller buds of the same strain. CBX does not say whether it rolls cones or straight joints, uses a filter tip, or rolls by hand or machine. The flower is CBX indoor; the two cultivation licenses the brand lists on its site are both medium indoor grows in Los Angeles County. CBX hang-dries every harvest in the dark, hand-trims by turning each bud on its stem so fingers do not strip the resin, and says it grows without plant growth regulators, with about two-thirds of its feed water captured from its own dehumidifiers and air conditioners. Its awards page lists High Times placings from 2013 through 2017, White Walker OG and Kush Mountains among them; Gluetopia is not on it.

Dosing

New to flower: two puffs, put it out, wait fifteen minutes. Reviewers disagree on how fast it lands, so give it time.

Regular smoker: a third to half the joint is a session. Pinch it out and it relights fine.

Heavy tolerance: the full 0.75g, evening, with food nearby.

Storage

Keep it sealed in its packaging, cool and dark. Ground flower loses its nose faster than whole buds, and the citrus and pine go first. If you smoke only part, make sure it is fully out, then seal the rest and finish it within a few days.

FAQ

Is Gluetopia an indica or a sativa? A hybrid, per Cannabiotix and Weedmaps. CBX tags it H/I, like Kush Mountains and Wedding Cake, and reviewers describe a relaxed, body-forward high.

What is the lineage? CBX Glue x Zereal Milk #97, both from Cannabiotix's own library. The brand has not published the parents of CBX Glue.

Why does Weedmaps show GG4 as the parent? Its strain entry credits Copycat Genetix and gives a GG4 lineage, which does not match what CBX publishes. CBX's lineage is the one that applies to this joint.

What is inside the joint? Ground flower from buds too small for CBX's eighth jars, no trim, in all-natural paper. CBX does not say whether there is a filter tip.

How strong is it? Full-strength indoor flower. Tested potency is on the label; start with two puffs if you are unsure of your tolerance.

Is it the same as the Gluetopia eighth? Same strain, same grower. The eighth sells as Big Buds; the pre-rolls get the smaller buds, ground.

How long does it last? Two to three hours, strongest in the first hour.
