No grinding, no packing, just a clean, convenient smoke.

At a Glance

Genetics & Lineage

Headband is a well-established hybrid, a cross of OG Kush and Sour Diesel, named for the mild band of pressure many smokers feel around the forehead. The diesel-citrus flavor and balanced, easygoing effect have made it a longtime California staple.

Terpene Profile

Myrcene leads with an earthy, relaxing base. Caryophyllene adds the peppery, fuel-like edge that ties into Headband's diesel character. Limonene lifts the lemon-citrus top note. Together they give Headband its earthy, diesel-citrus character.

Flavor & Aroma

The pre-roll burns with a diesel-forward flavor, lemon and earth underneath and a faintly creamy finish. The smoke is smooth for a fuel strain, and the aroma is classic OG-diesel: sharp, gassy, and a little citrus-bright. Expect a loud nose the moment the pack is opened.

Effects

Headband opens with an upbeat, mood-lifting head buzz that eases into a relaxed, comfortable body calm. Onset comes on within a few minutes of smoking. The balance stays functional and sociable through the first hour before mellowing toward the relaxed end. Total experience runs roughly one to two hours depending on tolerance and how much of the gram you smoke. It's moderate to potent.

Best For

• Easygoing afternoons and evenings
• A convenient, ready-to-smoke single
• Casual socializing and conversation
• Stress relief without full sedation
• Diesel and citrus flavor fans

Terpenes & Cultivation

UpNorth is a California cultivator, and its pre-rolls are filled with milled flower rolled in a natural paper cone. This is a 1g single of ground Headband flower (no concentrate, no infusion) so it smokes like the flower it's made from. Myrcene, caryophyllene, and limonene lead the profile.

Dosing & Storage

Dosing: Light the tip and take a slow, even draw. A full gram is generous, so newer smokers may want to share it or put it out and relight later rather than finishing in one sitting. Storage: Keep the pre-roll in an airtight container away from heat and light to preserve freshness and slow the flower from drying out.

Similar Strains

If you like Headband, also consider: Sour Diesel (brighter), OG Kush (earthier), or Chemdawg (gassier).

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Headband indica or sativa? Headband is a balanced hybrid. It opens uplifting and settles into a relaxed body calm rather than running strongly energizing or fully sedating.

What does Headband taste like? Diesel and lemon over an earthy base with a faintly creamy finish. It's the classic OG-diesel flavor profile.

How strong is Headband? Moderate to potent. Smoking delivers effects quickly, so pace yourself with a gram if your tolerance is light.

Is this a joint or a blunt? It's a pre-rolled joint: milled flower in a paper cone, not a tobacco or blunt wrap.

What is Headband good for? Easygoing afternoons and evenings, casual socializing, and stress relief. It's a balanced all-purpose hybrid rather than a pure focus or sleep strain.

Does Headband cause anxiety? Rarely at a measured pace. The balanced effect tends to ease tension, though smoking a full gram quickly can feel heavy. Go slow.

Is Headband good for sleep? It can help you unwind in the evening but isn't a dedicated sleep strain. Pair with a heavier indica if you need more.

What time of day is Headband best? Afternoon into evening, when a relaxed but still sociable balance is welcome.
