Genetics & Lineage
GG4 is the strain once famous as Gorilla Glue #4 and now filed as Original Glue, a three-way cross of Chem's Sister, Sour Dubb, and Chocolate Diesel from GG Strains. Chem's Sister brings the sour fuel, Sour Dubb the weight, and Chocolate Diesel the dark cocoa note in the finish. The cultivar took first-place Cannabis Cup wins in 2014 and has been a benchmark heavy hybrid ever since.
About PLUGplay
LIVEST is PLUGplay's live resin tier: flower frozen at harvest instead of dried, then extracted cold so the oil carries the plant's original aroma. The Los Angeles brand runs everything on its magnetic PLUG system, where a draw-activated, USB-C rechargeable battery does the work and the pod just snaps on.
Flavor & Aroma
Diesel and pine lead, with damp earth underneath and a dark coffee note that lingers on the exhale. Caryophyllene, the strain's signature terpene, gives it a peppery, woody edge. Nothing here reads sweet.
Effects
Onset arrives in 2-5 minutes and lands heavier than most pods, peaking at 15-30 minutes with a euphoric lift that settles into deep body relaxation, then fades slowly over 1-2 hours.
Best For
- Evenings and nights with nothing left on the calendar
- Fuel-and-earth palates rather than fruit chasers
- Smokers who know GG4 flower and want it pocketable
- Watching the fog roll in from Fort Funston's dunes at the end of a long day
Dosing
One short pull, then wait a full minute before another. Live resin with diamonds runs stronger than distillate pens, and GG4 is the pod most likely to be underestimated.
Storage
Store upright at room temperature, off the battery, away from heat.
