Connected - Permanent Marker - Cold Chain Cartridge - 1g

Connected Cannabis Co.'s Permanent Marker Cold Chain Cartridge puts the most award-winning strain of the last several years into their most technically advanced vape format. Leafly's 2023 Strain of the Year and High Times' 2022 Strain of the Year - the only strain ever to win both titles back to back - Permanent Marker is as loud in a cart as it is in a jar. Soapy floral, candy-sweet gas, and a deep dessert-funk backbone, preserved at sub-zero temperatures for a vapor experience that actually delivers.

What Is Cold Chain?

Cold Chain is Connected's proprietary cartridge technology built on a key discovery: certain strains express their best character when cured, others when processed live, and many achieve their full potential through a precise blend of both. By integrating live extraction precision with cured resin character - and maintaining temperature control throughout the entire production process - Cold Chain preserves strain-specific terpene profiles that standard distillate and most live resin carts can't replicate. The result is vapor that's richer, more layered, and truer to the jar. Use at 2.0 - 3.0 volts on any compatible 510 battery. Avoid higher voltage settings, which risk burning the coil and degrading the oil.

Genetics & Lineage

Permanent Marker is a cross of Biscotti, Sherb BX, and Jealousy - bred by Seed Junky Genetics and grown by Connected. It stacks three elite California genetics into one: Biscotti contributes the doughy dessert sweetness and heavy resin load. Sherb BX brings the creamy, rich Sunset Sherbert character that defines its floral-sweet signature. Jealousy - itself a Sherb BX x Gelato #41 cross - adds the euphoric ceiling, the gas, and the candy top notes that give Permanent Marker its name. The result is an indica-dominant hybrid (approximately 70% indica / 30% sativa) that smells like you uncapped a fresh marker in a candy shop. Dominant terpenes: caryophyllene, limonene, myrcene.

Flavor & Aroma

The profile is stacked and distinctive - soapy floral notes up front, layered over candy sweetness and a clean gas backbone with peppery spice on the finish. Some describe it as half-candy, half-art-supply room, and that's not inaccurate. The Cold Chain process keeps the delicate floral and sweet top notes intact alongside the fuel - a difficult balance that most carts lose in extraction. Resinous and full-bodied vapor with a clean, lingering finish. ### Effects

Permanent Marker opens with a fast-hitting cerebral rush - euphoric, creative, and mood-elevating - before transitioning into a soothing, grounding body high that eases tension without shutting you down. The indica side keeps things comfortable and warm while the Jealousy and Sherb genetics keep the mental engagement up. It's versatile - valid for a creative evening session, social hangs, or unwinding after a long day in the city. Potent but not purely sedating. Give each puff a few minutes to land before taking more.

Best For

• Anyone who wants the Strain of the Year experience in a discreet, on-the-go format
• Creative sessions, gallery walks, dinners in North Beach, or a relaxed evening near Washington Square Park
• Experienced cart users who know what good terpene expression actually feels like
• Fans of the Cookies/Gelato/Sherb lineage who want the natural evolution of that whole family tree in one strain
• Flower smokers skeptical of carts - Cold Chain is the format most likely to change their mind

Hardware

510-thread cartridge compatible with any standard vape battery. Set to 2.0 - 3.0 volts for optimal flavor. Higher temperatures will degrade the Cold Chain oil and may burn the coil - lower and slower always wins with a premium cart.

Dosing

Start with 1-2 small puffs and give it 5 minutes before taking more. Cold Chain carts run very potent, even for experienced consumers. New to vape cartridges: start very low, build slowly over 15-20 minutes, and never chase the effect before it's landed.

Storage

Store upright in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight and heat. Avoid hot environments - heat thins the oil and breaks down the terpenes that make Cold Chain worth the price.
