Strain Profile

Northern Lights is a near-pure indica originally bred from a cross of Afghani (the foundational indica landrace) and Thai (a sativa landrace, though minimal in the final phenotype expression). The strain dates back to the late 1970s and has been a cornerstone of indica genetics ever since - a parent or grandparent of countless modern hybrids. Pure-strain Northern Lights remains one of the most reliably sedative cultivars available.

Flavor & Aroma

The vapor opens sweet and earthy - the classic Northern Lights nose translates into vapor as warm pine, soft earth, and a subtle citrus brightness on top, with a sweet underside that softens the depth. On the inhale, expect earthy-sweet notes across the palate; the mid-palate brings a faint spicy-pepper kick; the exhale is smooth with a clean pine-citrus finish. It's an old-school flavor profile - less dessert, more genuine plant character.

Dominant terpenes (typical for NL lineage): Myrcene (sedating, mango-relaxing), Caryophyllene (peppery, anti-inflammatory), Pinene (alertness, balancing), with Limonene citrus notes.

Effects & Best Use

Northern Lights comes on quickly via vape - 30 seconds to 2 minutes from the first pull. The opening is a soft, happy euphoria that settles fast into the heavy indica body weight Northern Lights is famous for. Within 15-20 minutes, expect a full-body relaxation that rolls smoothly toward sleep. It's one of the most reliably sleep-inducing strains in the catalog - used by patients for decades for insomnia and chronic pain.

Best paired with: Sleep prep, end-of-day decompression, chronic pain management, late-night sessions.

Avoid if: You need to be productive, drive, or stay alert. Northern Lights is unmistakably a sleep strain.

Reported by patients to help with: Insomnia, chronic pain, deep stress, anxiety, restless body symptoms, low appetite.

Hardware & Battery

Stiiizy's All-In-One disposable is a draw-activated 1g vape pen with a built-in rechargeable battery and USB-C charging port. Discrete pen form factor, pocket-friendly, no buttons. If the battery runs out before the oil, recharge to keep using.

Extract Type: Live Resin Liquid Diamonds

Stiiizy LQD uses Live Resin Liquid Diamonds - live resin (terpene-rich extract from flash-frozen fresh flower) blended with isolated THCa crystals. Maximum flavor + maximum potency in disposable form.
