PLUGplay DNA - King Louie PLUG - 1g

PLUGplay DNA - King Louie PLUG - 1g

King Louie is a heavy indica pod from PLUGplay's DNA line, known for wet pine and earth where most pods offer candy. It is the strain to reach for when the day is genuinely finished. The pod only fits the PLUG battery system, sold separately; it will not fit a 510.

Quick Reference

• Type: Indica-dominant (PLUGplay Nighttime)
• Format: 1g magnetic PLUG pod; powered only by the PLUG battery, sold separately
• Flavors: Wet pine, earth, faint citrus peel
• Best time: Night

Genetics & Lineage

King Louie, often spelled King Louis, is most commonly recorded as OG Kush crossed with LA Confidential; an alternative account names Afghani, though LA Confidential's own heavy Afghani ancestry makes that nearly the same story a generation shallower. No breeder claims the credit. What everyone agrees on is where it got popular, Southern California, and what it does, which is put people to bed.

About PLUGplay

PLUGplay has spent years refining one idea: a magnetic pod that drops onto a draw-activated battery with no button, no thread, and no setup. The Los Angeles brand's DNA line handles strain-named oils like this one, building on distillate with the cultivar's terpenes restored so an old OG profile of pine and damp earth survives the trip into a pod.

Flavor & Aroma

Pine dominates, and it is wet pine, forest after rain rather than dry needles: earth, bark, a faint musk, and a citrus peel note that never becomes fruit. Myrcene leads the strain's profile, with limonene and caryophyllene behind it. Nothing here is sweet.

Effects

Onset in 2-5 minutes arriving in the limbs before the head, peaking around 15-30 minutes as sleepy, relaxed, hungry body weight, then a 1-2 hour taper into drowsiness. The reverse of the Daytime pods in every way.

Best For

• Searches for "best indica pod San Francisco"
• The last stop of the night before lights out
• Watching waves go dark from Baker Beach
• Pine-and-earth palates with no interest in dessert vapes

Dosing

Two seconds, then stop; heavy oils turn harsh on long pulls, and this one does not need much to finish the job.

Storage

Upright, indoors, away from heat, with the pod taken off the battery when you are done for the night.
